About Gicleé Prints
Nancy chose to have her original landscape quilt designs printed with the Gicleé process since it is considered one of the world’s finest techniques for reproducing original art. Gicleé (pronounced zhee-clay and is a derivative of the French verb gicler meaning to “spray”) is a printing process that uses 11 UV durable inks, printing 300 DPI (dots per inch) on Premium Edition Satin Canvas. Each canvas print is varnished which allows the image to be wiped clean and protects the image from scratches and dirt. “I chose to have my landscape quilts printed on canvas rather than fine-art paper,” explained Nancy. “After all, canvas is a fabric and fabric is my medium!”

The prints are hand signed and numbered by Nancy and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Your certificate verifies the size and edition number.

Your Gicleé canvas print will arrive at your home rolled in a tube (Photo 1). The prints have an extra canvas along each side, printed in a color from the quilt. The recommended method of framing is to have the print stretched on 3/4" wide stretcher bars by a local framing expert. Stretched canvas may be hung unframed (Photo 2) or framed (Photo 3).
